Our Terms of Service describe what Deaf Blind Fund does for you and the individuals, charities, and organizations you support — and what we require of you as a user.

- “ACSO” or “Authority” refers to The Authority for Civil Society Organisations (or relevant national charity regulator in your jurisdiction).
- “Charity”, “NGO”, or “CSO” refers to a charitable organisation registered with ACSO, or an organisation of similar status exempt from registration.
- “Cause” refers to a fundraising campaign for the benefit of individuals who are deafblind or programs supporting the deafblind community.
- “Project” refers to a crowdfunding campaign for disability-related businesses, services, or community initiatives.
- “Beneficiary” or “recipient” refers to a person, Charity, or Organisation for whose benefit a Cause/Project is started.
These Terms of Service apply in the country or countries where Deaf Blind Fund operates.

These Terms govern your use of the Website and its associated services. Please read carefully. Your use of the Website constitutes your consent to these Terms.

About the Beneficiaries, Causes, and Projects
The Website allows you to contribute to Causes and Projects listed on it. Every Beneficiary featured has an agreement with Deaf Blind Fund authorizing us to collect donations/contributions on their behalf. Causes/Projects are listed at our discretion.
Charities, Businesses, and Individuals must have appropriate authorization, permits, or licenses to operate legally and to fundraise in compliance with local laws.
Contributions and Donations
Deaf Blind Fund processes your contribution/donation via the payment method you choose at the time of donating.
- All payments are non-refundable.
- In cases where funds cannot be transferred to the Beneficiary (e.g., the organisation ceases operation), we may reallocate funds to a similar deafblind-related Cause or Project at our discretion.
Use of Your Contributions
Deaf Blind Fund does not guarantee that contributions will be used for any specific purpose and is not responsible for dissatisfaction with a Beneficiary’s use of funds.
If you require your contribution to be used for a specific purpose, you must arrange this directly with the Beneficiary before donating.
We verify Beneficiary identities before transferring raised funds and may repeat checks as needed.
Platform Fees
- A standard administrative and transaction fee of 2.75% applies per Cause donation.
- A standard fee of 5% applies per Project contribution.
- Promotional rates may apply from time to time.
Account Security
You are responsible for safeguarding your account password and for any activity under your account. Report unauthorized use immediately.
User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Upload offensive, discriminatory, or defamatory content.
- Misrepresent your identity.
- Send spam or unsolicited messages to donors.
- Conduct raffles, lotteries, or illegal fundraising.
- Attempt to bypass site security.
- Misuse donor contact details.
We reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts that breach these rules.
